Default Tournament Structure Question

32 players. 1500 chips. Blinds increase every 15 minutes at the following rates. 25/25,25/50,50/100,100/200,
100/200w/50 ante ,etc.

This is hand dealt. Should I approach this like a speed or turbo tournament?

There are 12 qualifiers at $52.00 an entry winners get to a final table of between 12-24 for $10,000.
Played today and quickly found myself with 950 chips when Big Blind was 200, with a stack size so small I went all-in with garbage. How do I play this tournament? Is it even worth the trouble or does the structure make it a lottery ticket?
Thanks for the help. MrG

With such a low starting ratio, you have to go after chips aggressively or you'll fade away... as you found out

I'd say you're on the right track thinking about it like a turbo SnG. You're simply going to have to gamble. I would think 50/100 is the time to start speeding around.
