my face flushes...
Hi y'all, I've noticed that in live play, when I get caught in a bluff, run a bad play, or just make a dumb error I tend to get very flush (reddish) in the face and feel hot and embarrassed-looking. Is there anyway to work on controling this? When I'm playing online I can let it out by saying a few choice words or another expression of anger/frustration, but in person I think I struggle so much to keep it under control that it affects my game for several hands afterwards. any comments?? suggestions? Re: my face flushes...
That is one ROUGH picture. I may not be able to eat dinner now.
To the OP: breathe, baby, breathe. Take a drink of water, too... Doc Al should be able to lend some insight into this physical reaction to embarrasment. |
