Default Da Bulls

Holy [censored] I just checked the standings for the first time since it was apparent the Lakers were going to suck. I had no idea they were 3rd in the east. Have the baby bulls finally developed into a powerhouse? or is the east (minus Miami and Detroit) just incredibly weak?

East is pretty weak past 1/2.

The bottom half of the East playoff teams have been VERY weak recently (The Wizards stopped being so surprisingly good, the Cavs decided now was a good time to restructure their entire organization and now can't buy a win, Allen Iverson is still having to put the entire Sixers team on his back, the Pacers are still missing their best players, the Magic self destructed) but the credit still goes to the Bulls. They've been playing incredibly good basketball throughout the later part of the season. They've been right up there with the best teams in the East for a while now.

Can they win without Curry? How serious is his injury?

Curry's out indefinitely, and Deng is out for the season. Both tough losses. They're probably gonna go up against Indiana in the first round which is going to be a hell of a series. Basically, whichever team gets their big man back for the series will have a huge advantage, and if both O'neal and Curry come back it will be crazy close. I predict a Pacers win, based on the experience difference.

Yes they can win without Curry, but it's a lot tougher. They've won 12 of their last 14, and I think something like 6 of their last 8 without Curry.

The Bulls are good and they're fun to watch.

what pisses me off is how they spend so much time on sportscenter(etc) about whos going to get the last playoffs seeds, as if it really matters.
