10$ SNG HU Hand History, advice needed.

Just got done with a 10$ sng and i feel pretty bummed. When heads up, i feel like i played well and got in position to win, but then gave it right back. I don't really have that much HU experience so im looking for help ie. when to push pf, when not to push. what to push with. etc.. i dont need an analysis on every hand but just hands that stick out to anyone any input would be great, thanks.

Why not make a small bet on the flop? Your preflop raise could mean an ace, so he could think you just have an ace, no clubs. This could disguise your hand more than a slowplay.

I'd say just call this turn bet. It would appear that you are clutching on to your ace, or have a weak club.

You know he doesn't have the nut flush, so he's trying to make a move on you. Let him bet the river. Either way is fine, you probably won't get much more out of him anyways.

I don't play NL tournies much anymore, so this is more of a discussion on different plays and not solid recommendations. Just tell me what you think.

I'd check the turn through, he called your flop bet, he is not going anywhere. If he was going to fold on the turn, he wouldn't have called that big of a raise. Your hand is marginal.

Stealing blinds will become costly if you can't give it up when your opponent plays back at you.

I thought he might be slowplaying an ace and i didn't want to get c/r'd on the flop. I minraised the turn because i wanted to make it look like i wanted him to call (i think i got way too tricky there) and with so much already in the pot, i think he has to call just 300 to see the river.

Also, i tried using Bison's converter but it would only let me post like one hand at a time, and when it came out, it didnt seem to look right.

What's wrong with getting check-raised on the flop? You have the nuts!
You can now call his turn bet and raise his river bet.

OR if he just calls your flop bet, continue betting, and hope he raises you when the 4th club comes.

Another advantage of betting the flop with your strong hands + bluffs/semi-bluffs is that he will have to constantly be guessing whether you are bluffing on the flop or not. He will make many more mistakes if he is unsure of what your bet means.
