Default String Betting

Is it considered a string bet when a player grabs a stack of chips in each hand and lays them down simultainously? I think it is, I beleive you must bet with one hand, unless you say raise or bet.

The rule is usually that the raise must be declared verbally or made in one motion. I've never seen any mention of it being with one hand and if you think about all-ins in NL that's obviously not done (people will shove with both hands). Of course, some dealer or floorman has probably ruled a two handed bet a string bet somewhere.

I don't care if you push the chips with your Johnson. As long as you state clearly your intention to raise, as the chips are being put in play.

(well, maybe when I win your chips and I saw your Johnson I might re-phrase that)
