What you leave out is that Punch Out is a terrible game when it comes to simulating boxing. No real combinations, no real defense, no real stamina, and no ability to build up a fighter over time. Just a few tricks to get by gimmicky fighters. That all the great RPGs are gone and Zelda / SMB are squaring off is of course not surprising but still disheartening. J
