Monster on the river, but is it big enoush?
Villan was playing fast and loose, limping with a ton of hands. Trap at times with made hands, probe other times when missed. I think he has a good piece, but how big?
Preflop I don't think there's a need to raise OOP with the stacks the size they are. He's flat called a good share of raises PF with a wide range, and I don't think there's a need to start with a big pot on the flop. Would you act differently? My initial read on him would be QJ. He saw the free card on the flop, tried to buy it on the turn, and caught his straight on the river? Push?

Could be trips or a straight. You've got him beat a huge % of the time here, and he'll call your push with a lot more hands that are losing than winning.

The real question in my mind is that his Kx might have caught up or he has a bigger PP (yes, as unlikely as that might be). With the other three stacks being so damn short, is a push really the right move?

[/ QUOTE ] you push and lose you still have them all covered (albeit you hafta push into largestack, but everyone will have trouble not you).. you push and win you have almost certain first.. you push and he folds is good too [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

If you push, and he has a straight or trips, its going to more than pay off for the times he has a higher boat. Last night I lost two tournies back to back with set under set... it sucks, and it happens, but no way I'm folding my sets on either occassion.
