Depending on how high the blinds are, this is a great time to play ABC headsup poker. Ie bet the sh%t out of any pocket pair, any ace, any king, Q8+, J8+, T8+ and that should give you a good chunk of hands to value bet. Stay away from any two cards 9 or less and you should be fine. If you don't get the cards that sucks, but value betting is definitely key here.

I do believe that the player described by the OP beats the OP on the long run. For the OP, listen to me:
Any A,K,Q,J,suited hand,pair : all-in preflop.
Ok problem solved.

If you get any piece of flop, push

I wouldn't push draws; if he's a calling post he will let you see them for free.

Sorry if I was not clear, if you pair any piece of the board... push.

True, which is what confused me about him being a CS but still bluff-betting when checked to. That's not a calling station; that's a selectively aggressive player who raises too little. He can be beat too, but not as easily as a real calling station who gives free cards so as to not invest money in a hand.

value bet

If you have lots of chips relative to blinds HU you should play almost every hand. Not for any price, though. And you should raise (or maybe just call if I know you spew chips) with any piece of the board, typically.

Then if you do have the best hand on the turn and he's called your flop bet, you push the turn. Even though you are putting all your chips at risk, he probably does not realize it is in fact he who is doing it since that will be your play for the rest of the tournament. If he calls with BPWK and hits two pair, well, you type "nh" speak out loud "f'n moron" and let him keep making those absolutely horrible plays and make your notes.

But then again, your chance of seeing him again in a 'Stars $5.50 is pretty low.
