Default (109$): Stupid risk to take?

Used to the 55$'s, but took a few shots at the 109$'s. I felt it was quite a bit tighter than what I was used to. Not sure this move is a good idea, though.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Button (t1035)
Hero (t1445)
BB (t1500)
UTG (t1140)
UTG+1 (t555)
MP1 (t1480)
MP2 (t2050)
CO (t795)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to t250</font>, Hero is all-in (t1445) <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Final Pot: t400

Looks OK to me, esp. since you have him covered.

As long as you keep it occasional it is a good move. If you have a decently tight table image. But, at the 109s, people know what you are up to also.
