Default One for Ed Miller, aka why do all my big pots involve 42s?

I pick up 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the BB. EP raises, 5 players call, SB calls, I call. Obvious call I imagine?

Flop (16SB) comes 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB checks, I check, EP bets, three players call.

I call.
Turn (10BB) comes 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], I ?

check-raise 1 bet from anywhere, check-fold 2 bets.

Call a 3 bet and river the 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

the PF call is fine imo.

i would bet the turn and hope that EP will raise to protect your hand. if he doesn't you had no chance to protect the hand and did your best.

What is EP raising your donkbet with that we currently beat?

A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A? (and against that he has 16 outs to win [6 counterfeiting outs, 8:diamonds: (no 2:diamond), 2 aces])

i expect him to raise with a much broader range to protect his hand in this very big pot, even if he suspects that is beat.
