Notes on Opponents
What notes do you vets keep on opponents that you find the most helpful other than the typical Loose/Tight, Passive/Aggresive.
In other words - what things, as a beginner, are the most helpful for me to keep track of about my opponents. Thanks bs |

Re: Notes on Opponents
Deceptive / abnormal / stupid plays (or at least plays that I wouldn't do)...
- limping with big hands preflop - not pumping draws in multiway pots - and the like I think it's also important to put down how many times you observed the behavior -- I'd hate to have some rock's misclick have me mischaracterize him forever. PP |

I note whether he sees all/most/few flops, and other than straight-forward plays such as raising marginal hands or slow playing big hands.

Re: Notes on Opponents
How loose of a caller they are vs raises, what hands they raise with, how do they play top pair / flopped set, how often do they bluff, how do they play the nuts, etc.

Re: Notes on Opponents
do they bet straight or flush draws?
When they raise on the turn does this mean 2 pair or better? Do they call to the river with TPWK? Will they bet if i show weakness? bluffing etc, just anything really, oh yeah and preflop raising standards probably could write down another 50 things |

Re: Notes on Opponents
I would like to add to this thread a couple of questions. When can you pull out a note book at a poker table in a B&M casino? and #2 Can you use a PDA like a PalmPilot in a B&M casino for taking your notes?
