Default Weak play? (edited)

I don't often play NL at all...

I believe my image is rockish. Everyone at the table is playing pretty tight actually. One guy said this is the tightest game he's ever been in.

Opponent in this hand is one of two at the table who are open raising a lot. He was shortstacked when I first sat down but has won some big pots to get where he is.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (6 handed) converter

SB in this hand is very loose. I don't remember anything about the button.

If you want real responses, you probably need to post the hands individually - Just too hard to follow it all in that format.

I will note that I was happy to see you get in your first bet in the third hand down the page.

I have only played 5/10nl a handful of times. I don't know what the standard play is. I've played limit for the last year, and before that, only the 1/2nl max $100 on PP. Maybe I should have posted in small stakes..

I'm looking for comments on my play. The one thing I don't want is for people to tell me to move down levels or that I shouldn't be playing, at all, hence the weak comment.

5/10 is mid-high stakes. If you want commenting, then post one hand at a time. 2 or 3 max.

On hand 1: raise the flop.

On hand 2: i like taking this turn, only if you think one opponent has a K and will pay you off if you boat up.

The way you played the flop on hand 1 makes it very difficult to play the rest of the hand. I would probably lead here or checkraise because many turn cards are going to look very ugly to you. If he calls a lead or checkraise on the flop you can be done with hand unless you hit one of your most likely 9 outs. But by taking action on the flop it will get him to fold hands like AK that may take another stab on the turn and force you into a very difficult decision. But given how you got to the turn I would probably fold as his most likely hand is an overpair.

In hand 2 I would probably fold the flop after the small blind calls...unless you have notes on the button as a bluffer it sure looks like he has 10-QQ here given the way he played the turn and river.
