old 15-30 = new 30-60, cept a little more aggressive

IMHO, the new 30/60 is actually a lot tougher than the old 15/30. There are fewer LAGs, a lot fewer maniacs, and a lot more TAGs. And the aggression level is significantly higher overall. Oh, and the players are trickier than before.

Default PP 30-60 MUCH tougher than Bellagio 80-160

PP 30-60 is, IMO, impossible to beat without getting very lucky for extended periods of time. Bellagio 80-160 was a cakewalk, comparatively speaking. I have moved back down to PP 15-30, might try 20-40, but I have heard that is real tough, also.

I agree. The new 30/60 kicked my ass and even though I went cold when I played there I could just tell that I would earn more at Party 15.

I must have just been at a loose table. I dropped a few thousand there today. I don't know if I was getting outplayed or unlucky

15/30 has a few less good players but a lot less maniacs and really bad players.

20/40 is similar to the 15/30 I havent played it too much.

30/60 has a lot of more aggressive players not as many as the 15/30 weak/tighties, seems to be a lot of 22/12 type players. Its a tough game if you dont have good table selection.

at first i thought the 30/60 tables were horrible infested with multitabling tags. since then the game has normalized and has played a lot like the old 15/30 games, but not quite as juicy.

oh yeah, table selection is as important than ever at 30/60. without it these games can be really sucky.

I've been playing the 20/40 primarily. I think the game has been very good, although not as good as the 15/30 a few months ago.

The 15/30 seems much softer now. A lot more limping, passive play and multiway pots then what it used to be. There are still some fired up games here and there... but you need to be right place right time. Most of the complete psychos from my buddy list that got the games super juiced up have either A) Moved up to 30/60 B) Dropped down to some low limit or C) Have probably busted or changed screen names.

This is weird becaues I just got back in the 15/30 games after a hiatus and they have seemed tougher to me (sat, sun and mon - although I had a really good game monday night). At the tables I have been at there are a lot less VPIP >30 players and a lot more VPIP ~= 25, PFR 10+. Table averages of about 22-27% VPIP , 10-12% PFR have been average for me.

This is a relatively small sample but it seemed fairly consistent over all the tables I was at. This is a lot different than it was 3-4 months ago.
