Default Vonnegut on The Daily Show

Wow. Not my favorite author ever, but one of my new heroes. If you haven't seen this, watch it. Politics aside, the guy is one of a kind.

I really enjoyed the interview. Never read anything by him though, what are his books like?

There are not like anything else you have read. They are funny and cynical. I recommend Breakfast of Champions, Slaughterhouse Five, Cat's Cradle, and Player Piano. You probably read the short story Harrison Bergeron in school.

He is truly unique.

i always like breakfast of champions for its humor

and welcome to the monkey house.

and hocus pocus had some really good moments too.
[censored] .. every book i've read by him has at the very least a laugh out loud situatoin. that said i havent read mother night and a few others, but i hear mother night isnt funny.
