Standard play w/ good straight draw+nut low draw?
5-5 SEK PL Dealer's choice live game at my local card club. I am shortstacked after losing a few pots and have about 400, villain has me covered.
A few limpers to me in the BB w/ A456ds and I raise pot, get one or two callers. Should I fold? I raised to think the field a little and because I felt I had a hand with good potential. The flop is a dream for me: 239 w/ two diamonds and one heart, I have no diamonds. I check, villain bets 50, I re-raise to 200 leaving me with 150 behind. He just calls. Turn is the 6 of hearts, giving me a nut flush draw, nut low and nut high and I of course push. I get called, hit the flush on the river and scoop the pot to double up. My question is how I played it on the flop and preflop - I'm guessing pretty standard (or is my flop bet too loose?), but I kind of suck at PLO8 and am looking to improve my game there. |
