Just so I get this straight (no pun intended).

On the flop, you called a bet, to a GUTSHOT inside straight, on the sucker end, with a paired board?

You are correct. I called a 50 cent bet on the flop. I was getting nearly 8 to 1 and more after EP called. My whole idea here was to keep the pot small. Thus, the fold to the All-in . I just wanted to win a small pot since I didn't have the 1st or even 2nd nuts on the board.

If I am going to draw to a gutshot, which is something I will do in certain circumstances, it is because I believe I will get paid off fairly well when I hit.

In the current hand, even if you hit you have to fold to any serious action because of the paired board. Therefore, fold the flop.
