no i like guns that i can aim and hit whatever i am aiming at , at the distance the gun is intented for. no short stuff like for a gun like that. i would rather have a shotgun for close range stuff. but if facing 20 attackers i would love that thing.

I think that "Bowling..." was a badly-done movie by any objective standards. I think that critics who praised it, like Roger Ebert, were actually endorsing its political view. I taped it from cable to watch later. I had to watch it 3 times to see it all, because it was so boring I kept falling asleep.

Even given that it was an op ed piece, not a documentary, it was not well done. It rambled without structure, seeming to revolve around some vague notions that guns are evil, Charleton Heston is evil, Americans are homicidal maniacs, and Canada is a utopia. I found his treatment of Heston to be particularly pathetic. Through innuendo and juxtaposition of unrelated film clips, he made Heston look like a gun-crazed maniac. His interview with Heston was embarassing to both Heston and Moore, abusing Heston's hospitality while showing Moore essentially battling to a tie in a debate with a man in the early stages of Alzheimer's. Moore's standard tactics of ambush interviews are tasteless and rude.

I don't think they are very effective after they've been used.

Glad you didn't take it personally. I of course am not getting one, but it is still a nice machine. Don't underestimate it as it has a 10.35-inch (26.3 cm) barrel. Also, it is not uncommon for people to aim it at a target 150 feet away and unload all 50 rounds and get a 9.5 inch (24 cm) spread.

I guess I just like it because it was in N64's goldeneye. Next stop CS, condition zero.

Zeno's .45 may be cool, but mine holds 2X more.

Cool. I need more rounds, too, in case I've been drinking.

john, i love watching everything more does. he is great. i dont agree with it all though, maybe 50%. he makes you think about things you take for granted or dont think you can do anything about. if a person hates someone because they think different than them its time to think different than.

Maybe you both should take a look at this book.

It's got 36 pages of urls, and sources to check all of the facts in the back of the book. Lets see Moore do that!

Michael Moore is clever, but he is also a spineless bastard. I haven't seen Bowling For Columbine, but after watching the first half of Fahrenheit 9/11 and wasting many hours of my life fact checking everything he said in the video, I decided never ever to waste another second of my life watching a Moore flick. I will also never give that man any of my money. That man is a spineless bastard, and very, very good at what he does. I can't believe that man isn't in jail for slander. I also can't believe so many people pay attention to him. I respect different opinions, but that man is a scumbag! I can't believe he hasn't been sued for slander and libel.
