Hero ?

OK my call on flop was a bit dodgy but I wanted to see what UTG+1 would do to the $50 raise.

I would make a 2/3 pot sized bet and if it didnt get raised I would push the river to a non spade. Hope this hand worked out for you.

I'd probably make a smallish, 2/3 pot bet. If you make a bet that invites a call you might face a difficult river decision if a straight or flush card hits, but it would be nice to get some more money in with this hand.

I would probably raise the flop, but since that turn was very kind your play worked out better. At this point in the hand I don't think anything you do is much of a mistake except maybe checking. Then again, there could even be a case for checking here if you think your cold call raised the eyebrows of an overpair on the flop and you want to get paid off on the river.

I bet $200 on turn, UTG+1 moved in

I knew I was in bad shape at that point but I pot commited myself so I called. He had 88.

Set vs. Set...hard to get away from even when u have a bad feeling

Well played hand (except maybe you should have raised the flop.) Sorry it didn't work out for you.
