Default habitual donker

Is this worth it? He may have that nine, he may not. He may call anyways with the nine; he may fold. But if he'll call with the nine, he'll also call with any other pair. He's played a lot of hands and gone far with most of them and hasn't yet raised with air.

I'm just calling this river. Maybe he's trying to bluff the ace, but I don't think you are beating him often enough here to raise. You aren't making the pair of nines fold. You might be getting 3-bet by an ace, although very unlikely.

this is borderline. If we're not calling, we're folding. I'm not sure I'd raise. I don't think he'd call with a worse hand.

I've seen donks call down in spots like this with a low A (A2). They never raise unless they improve to 2 pair/trips. I'd say this is a call, but definitely not a raise.

If you haven't seen him raise with air, then he probably has the Ace or better. Fold the river.

I don't understand your raise. Given your other read that he calls too much, how do you expect to get him to fold an an ace or even a nine or pocket pair better than yours?

No, you would have called this guy. He loved to donk. --

My reasons for raising are explained above. I think if the pot were a couple of bb bigger then a raise would have been correct.

If he's a habitual donker, he sucks. If he sucks, he'll call with a 9. If he calls with a nine, you shouldn't raise. I would call here, but i think folding is close. I don't like raising.

I only like a raise if he will Fold a 9. I don't think there is much value in a raise if he won't.
