That was by far, the worst game the Colts played all year. They probably are not playing like that again, and they still can scorch a Patriots defense with weak corners. Also, the Patriots don't have Dillon 100%, and can't run the ball like the Chargers can, so the Colts strong D-line gets more pressure on Brady than they do on Brees.

The Patriots are much better than they were for most of the year, but they'll still have an exceptionally hard time beating the Colts @ IND, if they get there.

Why do you think they played so bad? Do you think the play of their opponent had anything to do with their lackluster performance?

The Chargers elevated their game, and are a very good team, but the Colts didn't play their "A" game. Colts A game would have won that game, but they didn't. Colts are going to have to play terribly for the Pats to go into Indianapolis and win.

Were the Colts much worse this game then there games against Cleveland and Jacksonville (Round 1). By far thier worst game is a an overstatement.

This was easily the worst the Colts have played.
This loss is due primarily to poor play form the O-line. Edge had no lanes to run in and Manning had no time to throw. Manning was getting earholed on quick slants, which is just rediculous.
Oh well, on the bright side Dallas Clark had a TD reception and a forced fumble, thats an interesting stat line. I also really enjoyed Gary Brackett pulling a stutter step and spin move on LT, the role reversal was pretty funny. Can't win em all, but I can still enjoy em.

That's funny. Looked to me as if it was the Chargers D-Line that was getting to Manning and not the Colts O-Line that let them through.

That's what I thought too. A consistent theme here is people not giving any credit to the Charger's front seven which played an INCREDIBLE game.

The problem is, the idea is that the Colts are so amazingly good, the only way they can lose is to play terribly. Well, uh, you didn't win the game, we lost it! That's just silly. I'm not debunking the claim that the Colts didn't play like the Colts, but it is possible for a bunch of professionals to outplay a team as good as the Colts, without the Colts playing like utter crap.
