With the stacks this short, both leading and checkraising get all the money in if someone else has a good hand. If everyone has air, you win something off a checkraise (the continuation bet) that you don't win off a lead.

Agree. One problem with going for the checkraise is button is the type (I think) to check behind with AK and AQ unless they are suited spades. This could cost me my entire stack (although it's not that big).

One other thing, If I'm wrong about villian's overpair it seems to be HUGE risk of letting the flop get checked through. There are a billion scare cards that can hit...any spade, A, K, Q, 7, 9.

[/ QUOTE ]

And I'm betting pot (or a bit more) on the turn no matter what comes if flop gets checked through so checking has risks.

3 opponents so someone is likely to hit this flop hard (TP, any draw, pair+draw, overpair, etc). I don't see AK/AQ, 99 making a CB on this board with stacks so short and 3 opponents. I'm going against the group here so I may be wrong. Just my thoughts.

FWIW, Holdem, I think CR'ing all-in in this hand is a terrible line when compared to leading (for many of the reasons you mentioned and a few others). Winning nothing when they all have air is just about the last thing on my mind here. Leading is better in almost every way that I can think of.

I will lead a set on a coordinated flop much more often than not.

I fire $100, hoping to get a caller in the middle and have PFR raise w/ his big pair.

I believe he is one of few players playing fixed buy no limit who would make that laydown.

Not really, he had just about the right odds to call to hit the nut straight. Calling or folding KQo there is pretty ev-neutral.
