Although it is 18 to gamble, pretty sure it is whatever the legal drinking age is in that province, and it is 18 or 19 in all provinces.

Gambling age is 19 in Canada.

On November 20-22.... or near that. The biggest poker room in Canada, the Riverrock Casino/Hotel in Vancouver is having a limit, pot limit and NL event. The NL entry is $2500cdn. and a $$2.5million prize pool gaurenteed. Should be pretty good. 500entrants MAX.

As I said the gambling age is 18 in Canada. The drinking age determines if you can get into a casino or not. In Alberta it is 18, in BC it is 19.

The dates for the BC Poker Championship are 17-20. It goes PL, Limit, NL, and the Sunday will be the NL final table.

It is correct that age depends on province, and is 18-19 years old depending. This doesn't help as Party juse posted that the Canadian Poker Championships are actually being held in the Bahamas, lol.

Yup.
This is about the funniest thing I've read on 2+2 today....and incredibly it just so happens that it is true.

very weird.

Go Canada. I guess their country is just too damn cold to have their own poker championships in their own freaking country.

I think these are two different tourneys .... The BC Poker tourney IS in British Columbia.

The Party tourney is something different with a final in the Bahamas.
