Default A Boring Hand with 44

I don't have much of a read on villain at this point. I'm only playing two tables and playing decent attention, but this is like the one guy at the table I don't have a note on. I don't have numbers for Stars to speak of.

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

Preflop: Deranged is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Deranged 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 calls.

Flop: (7 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Deranged bets</font>, MP1 calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Deranged bets</font>, MP1 calls.

River: (6.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Deranged bets</font>, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 8.50 BB

I fold preflop, and I don't make the river bluff.

Villian would have to be a known weak-tightie to try this.

I've thought about taking that preflop line before many times, just never did it since I figured 2+2 would frown on it.

Flop is auto, turn is nice, river is close. I expect to see Ace high here a lot. I don't know, I'd probably desperation bluff it, but after the hand, in retrospect, I'd probably decide on a measly check/fold.

***Nevermind that! I didn't look at the flop texture. It'd be nice to fold a busted draw, and I think you can do that 1 in 6.5 times. Good bluff.

What a crappy flop. I kind of just want to say the hell with it and check-fold. I also wish I didn't have the initiative.

Perhaps it's because I play a lot of SnG's and shorthanded games that I like 3betting hands like this on occasion to get myself HU. As long as MP does not have a higher PP you are slightly ahead. You are out of position but you are HU.

I like everything but I check/fold the river. Doesn't sound like he is folding with A high and he beats you with it.

I fold preflop but thats just me. When its the HiJack raising I'll 3-bet.

River is interesting. Betting is the only way you can win. I don't mind it here since villain can be on a flush draw/straight draw without an Ace.
