Default Rensselaer? Okay I call...

I might have folded if he was from Vegas or London or some other generic-sounding city name. But since he's from some random Scandinavian country (I think so?), I continued.

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $1.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO (poster) calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Flop: (7 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, CO calls, SB calls.

Turn: (5 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, CO folds, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises</font>, Hero calls.

Apart from his name, do we have any non-ridiculous reads?

Nope.

I obviously sound ignorant and bigoted. I'm well aware.

It's in Hartford. Which is what makes it funny

Still though, who calls down after the turn checkraise? And who bets a rag river if checked to?

I don't fold this very often. Villain can check-raise with worse aces.

Edit: Inserted a verb.

Even though I don't disagree with your play I think doing so based upon one's location-or at least where you think his location is-is not a good idea at all.

OT-why the hell aren't you out tonight?

Because I don't go out. Nobody in my dorm is the partier type, and I don't get drunk. /shrug

There is no chance I fold this at 1/2 absent some great read other than he is from Rensselaer.

Rensselear isacity across the river from Albany NY. There is also a college in the area ofit called Rensselear Polytechnical Institute (RPI). It is a terribly run down skanky ass city. I know i live 4 miles from it.
