Default 20/40 extravaganza...back to basics, AQ

Villain is very aggro. Known to semibluff frequently, and bluff rarely.

You'll lose often here. You'll also win way more often than 1 in 11.

i agree at 11 to 1 you'll catch enough ace hands that you have outkicked to make it worth the call, but i'm sure it is pretty close. i'd say with ace ten kicker it might become a fold.

Not to this guy. Kicker isn't the issue when he's playing 87% of his hands (with a 2.0 PFA no less). Random ass-hattery is the issue. The guy's obviously a moron. I expect his raise to be completely moronic at least 10% of the time. Probably more. 73o FTW.

good point. those are moronic stats. i think any ace needs to call a raise here after bryce pointed out the true craziness of the villan's stats.

Surf's line also resembles that of a mid pocket pair such as TT. If villain had a weak ace, the c/r would be for value. I call this almost every time.

This was my thinking as well, I still don't know if it's right though. His sheer aggression is staggering given the %age of hands he plays, which makes me want to call this down. On my best day ever (yesterday) i'd call and win vs Ax. On the worst day ever (today) I call and lose to... 64o.
