I think the charm of that tattoo being on the forearm is that you "have an ace up your sleeve" so getting it anywhere else isn't that interesting anyway.

Yea but technically, if it was on my upper arm it'd still be "up my sleeve" when I wear short sleeved shirts. But alas I'm not getting it anyway because I don't want to be a tool who copies movies.

edit: instead of just a regular tool

This would sound just as lame when you try to explain it in person to every person who asks why it's there.

My buddy has one on his shoulder of the 7s and 2d. There are flames drawn in around the cards. Highly comical.

In response to the OP, as with all merchandise related to poker, it is going to be corny. Everyone that doesnt know my buddy with the 72 tattoo thinks hes a douche when they see it. People that know him think it is hilarious. I think the same will happen with you.

That's encouraging, now I don't feel like such a tool for deciding to get it.

I've considered getting the King of hearts (suicide king) somewhere on my left arm. But I've decided only to do that if I'm actually serious about poker and won't quit it in a year like I do with all my other hobbies.
