pet dish that dispenses a certain amount (read: weight) of food at specified intervals of the day so that the pet eats exactly what they're supposed to (not too much, not too little) when no one is home to feed them

i don't think anyone's invented this yet....

It has been done.

Anyone else got any?

[/ QUOTE ]

Too many to list.
-High throughput nucleotide sequencing using big dye terminators
-thumbdrives
-verax fans
-external hard drive enclosures
-optical mice (when all we had was the ball)
-RF remotes (which are for some reason still neglected)
I could go on for a long time.....

I also have a few I'm sitting on that could be huge. Only problem is I don't have the capital to start the R&D process as they are a bit more technical.

Wireless video game controllers. Granted, I was like 8 and was in no position to make any progress on the idea.

RF remotes are neglected cuz it sucks pretty hard when the retard neighbor can change the channels on your TV from his remote in his living room
