Is there not a staff shop?

My gf's stepdad worked at a brewery and they would get some cases to take home each month as a bonus as well as a shop where prices were reduced.

Other good place was macmillan publishing that had a staff shop with books for 10p up to a pound more or less max.

At Coke HQ in the ATL, executives used to be terminated for wearing a blue (i.e. Pepsi) tie. I confirmed this with a buddy who was in IT there.

My cousin's wife used to work at Pepsi, and she said the exact same thing. Any employee found drinking coke would be fired. She also said they had a coke floormat at the entrance of the building...

My mom used to work for a company that supplied most of the local grocery stores with their food. She was not allowed to set foot in any of the stores that bought their food from the competition. I remember there once being some crazy sale on turkeys or hams or some [censored] that she made someone else go to the store for her to get one because if she was seen there, she'd be in big trouble.

Your friend should just get used to the flavor of Coke.

Although the firm used Compaq computers as standard issue, any client service teams sent to IBM always used Thinkpads, which were specifically purchased for the purpose of teams servicing IBM. When in Rome...
