Default Tptk turns into more, scary river bet.

Does anyone Play this hand differently up until river? Do you call river or let it go? All comments welcome

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Button ($37.39)
SB ($7.60)

Preflop: Sakuraba is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.

I can't imagine ever folding this river. I think you see KQ at least 2/3 of the time here.

Flop/turn look decent. Turn raise to 7$ is a little better.

I'm calling this one for sure...

Villain most likely has KQ which you have smoked. if he has QJ or Q3 he'd surely have bet more on the flop/turn.

I would have played this the same way.

I see plays like this all the time and you will see players turn over incredible garbage or muck their hand (ill concieved bluffs i guess). I can't believe you were not good here. What did he show?

I call the river also, but I think it's close. How loose is villain? Specifically, can you narrow his hand range at all when he limps and then calls your raise preflop?

It's easy to say that you're ahead of most Q's, but how many Q's can villain realistically hold here? Would he have limp-called with Q-10 or a worse Q?
