Any Trump Chicago Updates?

I was wondering if anyone had heard anything new about the Trump being sold to the Majestic Star. I read the thread on it that was posted a month ago. Anyone pick up new info? I last played there about a month ago and overheard a dealer say that the new name was something like "Starry Majestic II". Don't hold me to that. Is there a definite date on everything being transferred yet? Thanks for the help.

Obviously, you could do a search and find out the deal is done and the acquisition will occur on or before the first of the year. There is no longer a Trump Indiana. But, you are probably interested in the latest gossip. The only thing I heard is rumor. I heard the poker room was going to be relocated to the next level down.

Read it. That was what the "I read the post a month ago" was referring too. Just hoping that someone found out something new about the ordeal. I guess that isn't you.

I was up in the poker room last week and asked Dominick. Mayestic Star II will be the new name starting 1/1/06 and no major changes in the plans so far. I have heard about moving to the second floor from some locals.

I just played there a week ago and the only question that nobody seems to know the answer to right now is what is going to happen to the current "rewards points" system. Some say that the slate may be wiped clean.

So you may want to go spend them comp dollars ASAP.
