I never really kept a huge bankroll, because I wasn't planning on playing higher than 3/6 anytime soon. My peak was 2600 or so, not including money in the bank, which is not part of my bankroll, because I am not Tommy Angelo. Also, I always paid myself, whether I was doing well or not. I checked my records, and I even paid myself this month (not very much), which is my worst month ever obviously.

I'm glad I went broke on a small bankroll, because at least I can replenish this one through outside means. If I can force myself to do it, petition gathering pays more than 20 dollars an hour depending on how hard I work it. Also, I have to figure out how to do some of my backtaxes, because the IRS owes me money. My next rakeback payment should help a little too.

I'm very thankful that I'm not really a pro. I go to college, so my family gives me some money. Its not nearly enough to get by on alone, but its a very nice safety net. Some other people owe me about 2500. Ugh. Sometimes it feels like I'm living in a parallel universe and in another dimension, people pay me back money, hot girls ask me out, etc.

I don't feel sorry for myself, but I need to really start realizing that life isn't a hollywood movie that automatically ends happily.

Yeah if you worked your ass off multi-tableing the low stakes and whoring every poker/casino bonus in town, you could have a 3/6 roll back in a couple of weeks max. If your absolutely confident you are a winning player then just borrowing the bankroll really isn't as degenerate as it sounds...

I never really got into the whole 8 tabling thing so I don't have the setup to play more than 4 tables, so playing .5/1 would be pretty low expectation. As far as borrowing money is concerned, I don't know anyone who is in a position to lend it to me.

My friends are broke, and my family wouldn't approve. If I found someone else to lend money to me, they would want juice. I'd prefer to avoid involving myself in that kind of situation.

I should try to sleep a little. I'm starting work as a petition gatherer tomorrow. I should be able to pull in >$1500 in the next 14 days doing that.

My bankroll is small like the OPs, just wanted to know where a good bonus is for a $200 bankroll atm. Seems every bonus now a day has a catch.

If I was in your position, I would actually consider putting the money on a credit card. I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone, but if you have a decent winrate over a large number (100k+) hands, are tilt-free, then you should be confident enough that you can clear the debt very quickly. At 3/6 I guess you can pull in, what, 1k a week on a 3k bankroll?

If you go the bonus route, you will only need to clear a single bonus to be playing 1/2, another couple of bonuses and running good and you will be playing 2/4 in no time at all.

Anyway, if you have the worked lined up then thats probably the best route. I would also bonus whore to try and build the bankroll back up. You could clear some BJ bonuses after work, it's totally brainless and you can watch TV at the same time, etc.
