added information. although button is rocky, he claims to want an ipod, and NOT an xbox.

I'm the villain in this hand. Funny seeing it on 2+2.

After you get some more feedback, I'll post my reasoning behind the hand.

Cheers and fun playing with you!

i probably wouldn't have tried for the steal PF.. once you get to the flop you're probably like 35% and you're getting 2.4:1 if he calls your push every time. So even if you have 0 fold equity, you've gotten yourself in a spot where you should push.

Default Hand from your Villains POV

I guess this was one of those "You had to be there" hands, but I'll go ahead and post how the hand went down from my perspective.

After reviewing this, I wouldn't be surprised if the 2+2 crowd gave us both donkey crowns

5 folds, CO raises to t24000, Hero calls t24000 (I put you on a positional raise with ANY TWO CARDS and thought I could outplay you on the flop), 2 folds.

Flop: (t51200) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Turn: (t211200) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
CO checks (I was right, you had a draw), Hero bets t48000 (Time to end this. My K High is good), CO calls t47216 (Would have liked to see a fold, as unlikely as that was) (All-In).

River: (t306416) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: t306416

Results in white below:
CO has 7h 4c (high card, ace).
Hero has Kc 2c (high card, ace).
Outcome: Hero wins t306416.
Railbirds go nuts!

So there it is: the strangest hand I have ever shown down late in a tourney, and definitely the strangest hand I've ever busted someone with. I felt pretty good about my reads through the hand. You were slightly more ahead than I gave you credit for w/ the double gutshot, but not much.

And yes, you are right that if I donked out and lost that hand, I wouldn't have been unhappy at all to walk away with an iPod.

In fact, anyone want to buy an Xbox360?

You should fold this preflop. You have no reads on the blinds and are raising complete junk. And, well, postflop just push.
