Re: Negreanu: Cassidy may have outplayed me, or he may just be lucky.
[ QUOTE ]
it's exactly my point in the OP. here it is again: DN is not really very modest in defeat. he only pretends to be. [/ QUOTE ] What is your agenda here? Because this isn't a point really worth mentioning. Pure speculation. Are you just jealous??? That's all I read from this. |

Re: Negreanu: Cassidy may have outplayed me, or he may just be lucky.
Seems modest to me. It would probably be innacurate to say "He definitely outplayed me." So acknowledging that he may have been outplayed is the best you can really hope for.

Re: Negreanu: Cassidy may have outplayed me, or he may just be lucky.
From DN's blog:
[ QUOTE ] Again, as for a rematch I cry “uncle.” I don’t think there is anything I can do at the moment to gain a significant enough edge to make playing him again worthwhile. [/ QUOTE ] Hard to read any immodestly into that. |

Re: Negreanu: Cassidy may have outplayed me, or he may just be lucky.
[ QUOTE ]
this is from his blog post after losing to cassidy. [/ QUOTE ] NO, IT'S NOT, it's from the middle. Try Again. What would happen if we took an opponent who you know was slightly better or worse than you, but didn't know which, and you palyed him in limit holdem for 4 hours, and he was up. Right after, would you say "he's defintely better than me?" It's ludicrous to except him to act any more modestly. It's not even a matter of modesty, it's a matter of it being virtually impossible to ascertain who is better based on 120 hands of limit holdem, when you can only see one set of cards. He MIGHT be better than me is the most definitive statement anyone that understands poekr could possibly make. |

Re: Negreanu: Cassidy may have outplayed me, or he may just be lucky.
[ QUOTE ]
is my point clear now? [/ QUOTE ] it's clear that you aren't making any sense, 3 or more examples have been posted that state differently then your o.p. (again containing direct quotes from daniels blog), and that you are both stubborn and have a difficult time comprehending simple sentence structures but you may have a future in psychology since you seem to feel what dn is really implying here. Go get em' tiger. let me be the first to thank you for clearing that up. |

Re: Negreanu: Cassidy may have outplayed me, or he may just be lucky.
it's all well and good that you translated the quote to mean that, but i think you're translation is wrong. i translated it to be daniel saying "holy [censored], i have no idea where i am in this match, and that [censored] doesnt happen very often. i wonder whats going on?"
this was int he middle. if you then continued on to read the rest of what he said regarding cassidy, he basically made it out that cassidy had made him his bitch. it doesn't matter if you're point is clear, because it is incorrect. go re read the articles. |

shut it you whiny hoes. daniel is the greatest poker player on earth. he got outdrawn by an inferior player yet again. if luck weren't involved, mr. negreanu would win everytime.

I think the point is amazingly clear: the OP is a knucklehead.
