a better poll might be who on that list doesn't belong in the discussion. as much as i want to say that would be eminem, the correct answer would actually be method man.

I can't beleive Snoop and some others made this list, but I spose it keeps a balance of some sort.

Not going on lyrics, but the ability to spit just dope multi-syllabic lines in succession, I'd have to go with Nas (despite the fact illmatic was the only really incredible album), Eminem(Anything Pre Marshall Mathers LP is VERY IMPORTANT here, not necessarily Infinite EP however,), maybe Jay Z although I dont know hes too predictable sometimes. Monch should be on this list as well despite the fact he hasnt done crap really. I VOTE FOR AESOP ROCK. Not really, but yea he can really rip ish now and then, if youre into that kind of thing.

I would have to say Guru of all the big name artists. I actually think Immortal Technique has the best flow, voice and lyrics of any MC, but he doesn't have a lot of fame yet.

I HATE Immortal Technique. He performed at the Nas concert in Denver a couple of weeks ago; it was like hearing Osama bin Laden rap. I was astonished that anyone could hate America as much as he does (This is from only having seen him live once... Apparently he is not so vitriolic on his albums).

you live in colorado? i was about to go to that show but i can't stand the venue, and i had a dinner to go to for work, so i didn't. there are usually a lot of good hip hop shows up in boulder. pm me or some [censored].

anyone who doesn't write their own lyrics, and even raps about that fact, should be disqualified.
