Default Check My Numbers Please

Button ($530.50)
Hero ($602.10)
---
---
---

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Button raises to $12, Hero calls $10, 1 fold.

Flop: ($28) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: ($28) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets $20, Button calls $20.

River: ($68) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets $30, Button raises to $70, Hero raises to $330

Villian is 39/13/2.6 for ~140 hands, but he just sat down and I don't remember him

Feel free to comment on any of the hand, but I'm interested in the bet amounts I chose on the river, and how far off optimal they are

Looks like you sucked the A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in with your 'weak blocking bet'. I like it. If I lose my stck here to KK then so be it.

I don't think villain is calling a substantial raise without the ace of hearts here. If you make it $200 or $330, he needs an ace to call. It is hard here for an Ace to get away for another $130. If it is between $330 and pushing, I prefer a push, looks more like a bluff.

I bet the flop, I bet pot on the river, I push over his raise.

Prefer push or milking bet on the river.

i'd pot the flop

i'd probably bet bigger on the river in case he just calls with the A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] instead of raising. 3-bet push on the river to get max value. betting bigger initially helps you get called when you push too.

i'd bet the pot on the flop...then i'd bet a little less than half the pot on the turn...enough to where I think he'll call...you need to inflate the pot.

I don't think he's calling the $330...there's really only 1 thing you can have here if he's sitting on the Ace of hearts. I'd probably make it 150 or 200. He'll call that. I prefer a push over the 330 bet.

I think I bet 3/4 pot on the flop and expect to get called by A or Q of hearts. I am not much of a check raiser, and I certainly don't want AhKx or something similar to get a free shot at a non-board-pairing flush on the turn.

Otherwise, looks ok to me. I think villain could be all-in here with the A-high flush. If you lost to a higher boat (i.e. KK), then I'd have gone broke too.
