Re: Hand against Dane.
Looks pretty good. I think I'm usually betting and calling down with an Ace there unless you do this to me a few more times, so you should probably value bet the river since I'm not bluffing. Or maybe that's what I want you to think...

Re: Hand against Dane.
Why would I bet a river Ace?

Re: Hand against Dane.
I really dont understand what your argument is. Jeff checkfolds a river ace I think. Even if he bet, I highly doubt Dane raises a river Ace without AA, his raise is basically valueless and he gets 3bet a ton. So again, what is wrong with Jeff's line other than his river check?

Why would I bet a river Ace? [/ QUOTE ] Ok, well a river K or Q or something to that effect. After seeing him check the turn, what rivers are you going to bet? |

I meant to suggest Dane could check behind the turn, and get a free draw to at least 12 outs. Edit: I don't know how Dane plays, so if Jeff was fairly confident that he would bet the turn, there is nothing wrong with it. |

Re: Hand against Dane.
What hands is Dane checking behind on the turn? Jeff usually c/rs a pair on this flop I would think (as would Dane), so therefore he is usually on a draw. The board is incredibly drawy against a big blind smoothcaller. Its also drawy for a button raiser, since his range is so large. Dane knows Jeff knows this and would not want to give a free card, so Dane is even less likely to check behind.

However, Jeff does have a pair and he did not C/R the flop, so he obviously doesn't always do this. Also personally, I will often C/R the flop with either a pair or draw. In Dane's position, I'm not exactly sure what I would make of the check-call and no donk on the turn. |

[/ QUOTE ] When the new house is done, I will get all you little phuckers over and we'll get to it. Gotta get the wife and kids out of town. Maybe plan it during a Chargers game so we have a little distraction while soiler turns over his roll to buy me some new sh!t. |
