My rule:

If you're satisfied with your hourly rate, it's friggin BEAUTIFUL.

Anything else... it's not...

That's all it really should come down to, in my mind. 8)

The tricky part is actually keeping track to even know what it is, and I am talking about live play, not PT'n it.

Currently, I'm satisfied not knowing... All I know is, I aint broke and I got many reasonable buy-ins left. 8)

Actually, when people are talking about NL and say BB, they in fact are talking about big blinds. Don't forget, people actualy kept stats before poker tracker ever came out.

To the OP: My numbers are per hour. You most likely will never track exactly how many hands you play, just an average hourly rate live.

Yes, I too was thinking big blinds per hour, not big bets. I guess i'm just wondering if a $30+ hourly wage is obtainable playing 2/5 against the many poor quality players i've ran into at the casinos. I know the rake seems super high and I have to stop tipping 20 bucks every time i bust somebody because it's eating into my overall profits after a few long sessions.

A dealer has the same control over the deck whether you busted someone or they busted you:

STOP STOP STOP right now before this degenerates into another tipping thread. Don't hijack the Fckin thread guys. Anytime the T word is mentioned, it becomes a "mine is bigger than yours" flame thread. Enough.

This is about win rates for 2/5 and 5/10. Stay on topic. No more 1/2, internet, and tipping discussions guys.

I would just like to add that it is very important not to tip dealers, as this can cut into your hourly rate.
