Ironic Situations
I call my girlfriend of 10 months tonight. General conversation ensues and out of nowhere she comes out with "I don't know if I can do this anymore." I ask her what she means and she starts talking about how stressed she is about school, me and her arguing, and whatnot. She then says "I'm not sure if I wanna break up, I don't wanna do something I regret." I tell her to call me back when she gets her [censored] straight and hang up the phone. She calls me back about half an hour later and asks me, "Could we still be friends?" I respond with "Probably not." She's quiet for a minute then says "I can't be with you." I say "Alright. Well I love you, and goodbye." And hang up the phone...relationship over.
The ironic part is that for the past couple months I've really had no interest in this girl, but could never get the balls to go ahead and break up with her. But now rather than being joyous about now beind rid of her, I feel like [censored] that she's the one that broke up with me. Thoughts? |

Re: Ironic Situations
any time you end a relationship it's not gonna feel good. Part of the reason you feel crappy is that it wasn't on your terms; she caught you by suprise.
