Re: Chip Leader - Final Table - Party MTT
Leverage the short stack. They'll want the other guy to bust you. But be sure you have a plan if they call a raise and/or reraise you.

Re: Chip Leader - Final Table - Party MTT
Good playing at the final table. Keeping the pressure on. No need to be stupid now with this chip lead.
Limp - call all in with 55 vs AJ. I figured he had a good hand as that's an old tactic. Too bad he hit the J. |

Re: Chip Leader - Final Table - Party MTT
Thanks for the support guys. The hand where we both flushed on the river was the real turning point. I felt sick after that, but I was lucky as hell to make it as far as I did. Doubled my best MTT win to date.
And don't mention my play when we were 3 handed. I was nervous. |

Re: Chip Leader - Final Table - Party MTT
Nice tourney! I busted out first at the final table when my AK suited ran into QQ. I raised to 25000 in EP with blinds at 5K/10K and MP reraised to 40000. I pushed the rest of my stack (roughly 55000) and didn't catch anything. Disappointing but I think it is the correct play there. Flat calling won't accomplish anything since an A or K on the flop will scare him off and I wouldn't get anything else out of him. Is that a standard push on the reraise w/AK suited? I'd be the chipleader if I win the hand.

Re: Chip Leader - Final Table - Party MTT
congrats, AtlBrvs4Life. it was fun playing heads up with you. a few hands before the last, i had AA, raised it the minimum amount but you folded
that was by far my best finish ever; previously i had gotten 39th in a $215 (i had won a freeroll) tourney with almost 700 entrants. hopefully i'll see you at another final table soon. congrats, again! |
