What do you do here with AKs
Game Live $2/5, capped game with 10 players
main opponent is decent, he plays high pp's 1010-AA agressively, haven't seen him play that much, but have the hands he has played aggresive preflop and had to show this was generally what he had. Here is how this hand went down: Hero $350 in Late MP, has A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] c/o (guy I describe above) has me covered Preflop 1 limper to me I raise to $25, c/o reraises to $75. My AKs doesn't look quite as good 70% chance I am racing, 20-30% chance I am in bad shape. I was seriously considering folding because there was easier money at this table. I think the c/o thought I was going to fold, and he tells me his hand is not as good as the Kings (he had KK a couple hands earlier). I asked him a couple questions, which led me to believe he was telling the truth, and put him squarely on queens with an outside chance of Jacks. Additionally, I am pretty sure he puts me on AK. So outside of spades hitting we mine as well turn our hands face up. Here is my question, assuming my read is correct what is your action preflop? Fold, Raise, or call. I think you can make a case for all of them. |

Well, if your hands are face up, you're certainly not going to raise his QQ as you are an underdog to that hand. Call, see the flop, see what develops.
