Default I Fold Too Much: Part 3. Top Pair

I think if I were to do this over, I'd think I might call down. The game is four handed, so the UTG raise is also debatable (of course it's a CO raise too). Our cold-caller is fairly loose, but also very passive. The stats on him are 50/2/0.3, but after only 35 hands. I'd just like to get some other opinions on this one.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: (5.33 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Turn: (3.66 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6.66 BB

i would not rely on agg stats after 35 hands to make this fold.

I think without a read, i call this down everytime.

Call it down, especially w/such a nebulous read. PF is fine. Your flop bet is a standard continuation bet, so Villain could be raising a weaker K or a T here, maybe even a 9/strong draw.

This is because you suck.

In all seriousness, mike's point here is correct. 35 hands is not enough to have any idea of his aggression factor, for all we know he hasn't had a draw to raise. I would call down because i think it will show a profit. Another big perk is that his hand here will be the best indicator yet of how aggressive he is, if he raises draws, etc... so i think calling down is a must here.

Good stuff. It's exciting for me when I do find an obviously misplayed hand. Hopefully this will help me in the future. Thanks to everyone who responded.
