Never, you played this right. Be careful with these kinds of posts, the mods have a way of jumping on bad beat posts.

I was serious, not just bad beat, but is there a time when i should have thought i was really beat?

When he pushes over your turn, you should recognize he may have a 6, but you still have to call. You'd been the aggressor the whole time, it doesn't look like he's trying to bluff you out.

More advice to OP: never post the results of a hand, it skews advice.

Edited to say: I think your bet sizes are fine.

You played it well. Put him on your buddy list - calling 85 more with 96o getting 1.5/1? Hee haw!
