Devil's advocacy here:

Aside from the spammy nature of the come-on and pointing someone to 2+2, wouldn't it be in our best interest for the producers of our games to receive rakeback? It would mean more money for them to dump back into the games anyway, right?

I didn't mind if the guy got rakeback... I just didn't want him to get rakeback from the spammer who had this guy pretty much hook, line & sinker.

I started throwing out some warning like the guys account could be locked, his money frozen... that type of stuff because I didn't want this spammer to win.

That's when this potty guy chimed in and said it's not illegal and to go to 2+2 for the best deal.
