Default Toto Leonidas

Would Toto Leonidas' (USPC 2003 Champ) very eratic and unconventional style make money in live games in the long run?

No.

Just as most tourney players end up going broke in cash games (then lie and say "its craps, im compulsive"), Toto exemplifies the worst tendencies in potential cash play and would be broke very quickly.

I dont think he was asking about whether he could play a cash game, he was aking if his "style" would work, so I assume he meant if he played the same way.

you haven't seen the hole cams at the The Bike? He plays the 400/800 and sometimes the 5/10 NL. He's usually the tightest player there. He plays correctly in ring and tourney. And his play vs. Seidel in 2003 was masterful.

i played with him a short time yesterday and i would agree he was a tight -- but aggressive and strong -- presence at the table and in an hour or so i never saw him make a tournament-style play. it was a very small sample size but he was not rambling and gambling.
