Everything about that opening was completely awful. The old dude who did the announcing was hilariously uninspired, and he managed to give George Mikan's eulogy in the same tone as his rev up pep speech. Will Smith needs to pack it in. And will someone tell the NBA that those weird ass cross promotion commercials are incredibly stupid? I didn't think it could get any worse than Van Helsing, but the new Fantastic Four/NBA finals commercials are so so so bad.
