Default Re: Montreal Casino Poker Yet?

There should be some info at www.playerforhire.com

It is in the works and should be ready in the next 6 months is what I hear.

If they use french cards I'm going to be angry. Actually, they definitely will use french cards, so I already am angry.

The Montreal Casino is such a craphole, everyone I met there was incredibly rude, and all the degenerates playing blackjack went nuts at my friend for splitting 3s on a 5 dollar bet, because he "ruined the shoe."

I've only been there once because I have no interest in forms of gambling other than poker, but from my experience, everyone there was an [censored], dealers, players, waiters etc. Maybe its cause I was speaking english.

I wish VIP was still open.

Casino de Montreal would be a fantastic place for a WPT event.

Lac Leamy would be even better, since it's only 15 minutes away, but you take what you can get.

Hey black aces, if and when it opens, we should car pool - we seem to be in the same hood...

No, I was replying to black aces, whom I assume is in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. But hey, we can stop by and pick you up. BTW, Thousand Islands in Kingston is supposed to be spreading poker soon, if rumours are correct. I believe that it is one of the only Ontario charity casinos without it...

I can't see how. That casino is TINY. I can't figure out where they'd find the space.

And yes, I'm in Ottawa. We could probably carpool to a CdM poker room...we'd just have to watch out for the flock of flying pigs.

Have to say I spent a week at Mont Tremblant and every French Canadian I came into contact with spoke English and was genuinely nice.
