Default Pokerroom scan be careful!

Hi someone was selling a us daily ticket worth 50 bucks for ten dollars cash. I ask him to send first (through gift vouchers) and he complies. Now heres where it gets fishy. When I tried to redeem the ticket, it say I'm unable to till tomorrow. Now I'm hesistant to send the cash because he can redeem it immediately while I have to wait a day. (This was what was told to me by other members) Now in the terms and conditions line #8 it states

"8. The sender of the Gift Voucher can cancel the Voucher at any time before the Voucher has been redeemed."

He states he can't cancel on his end because there is no option for this. What a load of crap. I was able to cancel my gift voucher so he surely can as well. I almost fell for his scam, but cancelled my gift voucher faster than he could redeem it.

So i'm just letting others know about scams that are going around pokerroom.

Mike

Who would fall for this in the first place?

If it's worth $50 why wouldn't the scammer just redeem it himself?

If it sounds too good to be true, it is!

If you were planning to play in this tourney anyways you wouldn't try to get it for cheaper? LIke you said if it sounds too good to be true it is.

I've seen this attempted several times.
