Possible outcomes?

If a situation arises where on can involve in a multiway action

How do you calculate the combinations that could give you a winner

1.3 handed
2.4 handed
3.5 handed

If holding two cards suited or unsuited, 1 gap, 2 gap, 3 gap, wide gap assuming you are up against at least one PP?
