Default JJ #1

The hand before this I raised one limper from late position and the villain tagged along. The flop comes Q8x, I bet, both call. Villain donks the turn 8, limper calls, I raise, villain folds. That's all I've got for reads, do you call down?

Yea I call this one down. If you've already seen the villain donk a scare card on the turn before I think this is an easy call. If they're passive it's a pretty easy fold.

villain has donked the turn before with nothing... if that's your only read, it's between raising and calling. i'd rather call and give villain a chance to bluff again on the river. if he is bluffing, you're not getting any more bets out of him it looks like. if he's not bluffing, you don't want to open yourself up to a turn 3-bet (or a river c/r, since you'd be betting this river again).

The pot isn't that large; I see little value in raising. Call/call.

The pot is large. Protect your hand. Raising only costs a bet, not raising costs the whole pot. Do not give a free card. Bet for value.
