Default Re: PokerRoom Reload 30% up to $300

This is probably a stupid question, but does "30% up to $300" mean you can deposit up to $300, or get a bonus of up to $300?

Thanks!

Default Re: PokerRoom Reload 30% up to $300

I currently have no account at pokerroom.
Am I really eligible for the 30%/$300 bonus?
I fear I have to be satisfied with the standard 20%/$100 first deposit bonus, because the $300 thing is obviously mentioned in the members-only section, right?

TIA

zion

I'm working my way through the bonus at a decent rate playing 2/4. But you are correct - trying this at 1/2 or lower, accumulating either 0 or 0.5 points per hand, could take an eternity. You need those $20 pots to get a full PlayerPoint (or whatever it is that they call them...)

unless you can really dominate loose games through actual play (BB/100), there's not much to gain in pokerroom bonus in terms of ratio of rake paid to bonus paid back:

Pokerroom
Rake required for 1 point - $1
minimum revenue per player/point - 10 cents
1 point bonus pays - 14 cents
maximum rakeback value - 140%

Party (7x)
Rake required for 1 point (limit) - 50 cents
minimum revenue per player - 5 cents
1 point bonus pays - 14 cents
max rakeback value - 280%

Absolute
Rake required - 25 cents
minimum revenue per player - 2.75 cents (9-max)
1 point bonus pays - 10 cents
max rakeback value - 360%

UB
rake required for full point - $1
minimum revenue per player - 10 cents
1 point bonus pays - 10 cents
max rakeback value - 100%

Pokerstars
rake required for full point ($2/4 and up) - $1***
minimum revenue - 10 cents
bonus pays - 20 cents
rakeback value - 200%

***for $1/2 limits, 75 cents/7.5 cents/20 cents/267%
***for 50c/$1 limits, 50 cents/5 cents/20 cents/400%

Full Tilt
rake required for full point - $1
minimum revenue - 11 cents (9-max)
bonus pays - 6 cents
rakeback value - 54.5%

with Party, Intertops and Absolute on the horizon this weekend, I'm apt to skip pokerroom this time around.

Ditto, I'm trying to brush up my limit game while clearing this on the 2/4 tables. On average, 50% of the pots are raked at 2/4 so every 2 hands played = 1 player point.

60 hands / hr = ~$4 / hr in bonuses, but unfortunately the bonuses are released in a lump amount.

Trying to clear this at the .5/1 NL tables would take ages.

If you are more comfortable with NL why not step up to 1-2 NL

How many people think this $300 bonus, after just having the Super Bowl bonus, is attributable to the server and disconnect problems they've been having (and a number of threads discussed)?
